Grant's Stump Removal Service was founded by Bill and Diane Grant in 1975 in Suttons Bay, MI. Bill and Diane started a tree service with the only privately owned aerial bucket truck and stump grinder in the area. Due to other ventures in their lives, Bill and Diane decided to sell the tree service part of the business, while continuing to offer stump removal services. Over the past 34 years, the business has grown from one pickup truck and one grinder to two pickup trucks, a tandem axle dump truck, a small articulating loader, and five different sized stump grinders.

Grant's Stump Removal has always been a family owned business. Bill, his wife Diane, son, grandsons, and newphew all work together to offer you superb service and customer satisfaction for you and your family.
